Complexity Fest returns for its third year, announcing its expansion to two days, on 23rd and 24th of February 2018. The Dutch festival, focused on the complex, experimental, progressive and adventurous side of heavy music, will take place again at Patronaat venue in Haarlem, The Netherlands.
The first acts for 2018 have now been announced: UK tech-metal legends SikTh, deathcore titans Carnifex, psychedelic supergroup John Frum (The Dillinger Escape Plan, The Faceless, John Zorn) on their European debut, noise-rockers Three Trapped Tigers, hardcore savages God Mother, and native post-death metal band Ulsect, featuring members of Textures and Dodecahedron.
The announcement follows a highly successful second year for Complexity in 2017, which led to Kerrang Magazine stating:
"They've really upped their game, with a line-up of rising stars and heavyweights that go way beyond your average run-of-the-mill Meshuggah worship."
In 2018 Complexity will consist of a Friday evening (18:00-02:00) and full Saturday (12:00-04:00). First phase weekend tickets are now on sale for € 25 (excl. fees) - a held price from 2017. Separate day tickets will be available later.
