Details on how to support and get involved throughout the UK can be found on the sites website

MPL founder Richard Taylor explained the site approached the Wedgewood Rooms to host the official launch event as they were the very first venue to sign up to the site. “The main purpose of the site is to get more people away from their sofas and laptops and to live shows. With the multitude of summer festivals these days, these showcase events are to remind people just how awesome the live venue experience can be and how important it is to continue to enjoy, support and attend.”

MusicPlanet Live is a UK founded social music site designed by music fans, artists and venue owners around the entire needs and requirements of the music community, but with one main aim, to keep live music thriving.

Sean Midson, vocalist for Create To Inspire, who are performing at the official launch, says of MusicPlanet Live"Music Planet Live is something I and many musicians have been waiting for, for quite some time. To have a free & accessible social media/networking site purely for musicians to utilise is a blessing, and we cannot thank the awesome people that head MPL enough for getting us involved and making everything music-related that little bit easier."
