COMPLEXITY FEST announces THE FACELESS, DØDHEIMSGARD, SITHU AYE, and more

Complexity Fest announces its next wave of bands for the 2018 iteration of the festival, its third year.

Expanding to two days, on 23rd and 24th of February 2018, the Dutch festival (located at Patronaat, Haarlem) continues to grow. Focusing on the complex, experimental, progressive and adventurous side of heavy music, Complexity Fest 2018 boasts a stirring and impressively international line-up.

The following new acts have been announced: tech-death heavyweights The Faceless, Norwegian blackened avant-garde veterans DØDHEIMSGARD, instrumental progressive favourite Sithu Aye, German prog/math metal band The Hirsch Effekt, instrumental ambient trio Toska, Danish extreme brutes Cabal, Belgians Barst, Portuguese technical deathcore group The Voynich Code, experimental electronic mavericks Knalpot, French math/metalcore quartet The Dali Thundering Concept, Helium Horse Fly, and Dutch metal favourites Chiraw.

The announcement follows a highly successful second year for Complexity in 2017, which led to Kerrang Magazine stating:

"They've really upped their game, with a line-up of rising stars and heavyweights that go way beyond your average run-of-the-mill Meshuggah worship."
 
In 2018 Complexity will consist of a Friday evening (18:00-02:00) and full Saturday (12:00-04:00).
