Debt, a 10 song excursion in dissonance, does everything it needs to in the time it takes most bands to open up. This is no drawn out prog opus; instead, a supremely dark, engagingly short, sharp, shock to the system. If further musical pointers are needed then perhaps the menace of early Gaza and the turn-on-a-dime musical dexterity of Breather Resist often combined with grindcore would be a good place to start.

Having previously delivered on their promising self titled EP, HELPLESS have returned with a savagely blunt album that not only increases their sonic intensity tenfold, but expands their palate from a chaotic hardcore base into grindcore, noise rock and even figurative elements of death and black metal. This is not for the faint of heart.

Melodic tech-rock quintet FIRST SIGNS OF FROST have released the video for their latest single 'Meat Week', taken from their latest EP The Shape Of Things To Come - out now via Basick Records.

"The song itself is about the Syria crisis and the divide of people in the U.K. I went out to Calais a couple of years ago and witnessed protesters waiting at the shoreline at Dover," explains guitarist/vocalist Owen Hughes-Holland."'Meat Week' was then written from the perspective of one of the protesters, with their blind sighted, one dimensional view and sheer anger towards the people fleeing their country for survival."

HEART OF A COWARD celebrate the 5th anniversary of their debut album Hope And Hindrance with a remastered re-release and limited vinyl run, available from 24 November via Basick Records.

The Phoenix was released on 16 June 2017 via eOne / SPV and is the first release from CKYsince they put out Carver City in 2009. The album was engineered and mixed at Rancho De La Luna, the highly regarded recording studio in Joshua Tree, CA.

CKY are currently playing the entirety of the 2017 Vans Warped Tour and is the band's first time retuning to Warped Tour since 2000. Before that, CKY finished a highly successful thirteen show run of the UK, most of which were sold out.

2017 will be a massive year for CKY, who have sold north of a million albums over the course of their nearly-20-year career. Fans can expect new music and more tour dates from a band that is re-energised and refreshed, and emerging with a career-defining effort that will prove to be worth the wait. 

Chad I Ginsburg, the band’s guitarist and singer, steps into the frontman role with charisma, charm, and bravado, confidently delivering a diverse performance as he claims a position that was clearly rightfully his to own. 

He’s joined in enduring partnership and musical and personal chemistry by fellow CKY cofounder, Jess Margera, the drummer whose extracurricular work in projects like The Company Band (with guys from Clutch and Fireball Ministry) expanded CKY’s horizons as much as Ginsburg’s solo work has as well. The video comes ahead of the band's stunning new LP Clairvoyant, released on 15 September via Entertainment One Music / Good Fight Music.

As vocalist Michael Lessard explains: “When making the 'Return to Earth' video we wanted to make sure it was cohesive in concept with 'Reimagined,'" says vocalist Michael Lessard.
“We made sure we took our time with the process. This video picks up where Reimagined left off, and can actually be played in succession with it. We couldn't be more pleased with the continuity and end result!” Directed by Erez Bader and produced by Lessard himself, the video is the band’s second from their forthcoming LP.

The new LP is the highly anticipated follow up to Language, the genre defying LP that continues to garner critical acclaim. Clairvoyant, which reunited the band with producer Jamie King (Between The Buried And Me, Through The Eyes Of The Dead), takes the best elements of The Contortionist’s past and reshapes them as the band follows their individual creative muses toward the future.
